Today, i've learnt about the many prefixes which is being used in the wide world of chemistry. I also learnt about the many names for cations and anions. Althought these are being taught in secondary school. It is to me a refresher course in my new life in Millennia institute, where i'll pursue my dreams and work hard to fufil my new year's resolution. But, in a nutshell, things learnt today is:
- Ions- anions and cations+ valencies
- Prefixes
- Converting formulae to names
- Binary covalent compounds
all in all, lesson today was alright and fruitful, but would be better if we had more hands on activities.
